Enrollment View - Access

We are happy to introduce the Harvard Enrollment View project (https://enrollment.vpal.harvard.edu). Currently, a limited number of departments in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of Education have access. If you feel like you should have access but do not, please leave us message

The Enrollment View dashboard displays data and visualizations of a department’s course enrollment counts across semesters, which enables faculty members and administrators to track enrollment trends over time and identify common sequences of courses taken by students. Examples of visualizations include:

  • Department-wide enrollments (enrollment in all courses across terms)
  • Course enrollment combinations (courses commonly taken by students during the same semester)
  • Prior/subsequent courses (courses taken before or after a particular course)

Data for Enrollment View is updated daily during the course registration periods in the fall and spring. Updates outside of those times are done on an as-needed basis. For an overview of Enrollment View, please see this screencast introduction.

In the near future, we hope to bring this discovery tool to all Harvard Schools. When a new School or unit is supported by Enrollment View, we will make an announcement via the appropriate channels within that School.
