We have before us the extraordinary opportunity to shape the future of our University by enhancing the classroom and laboratory experiences that have inspired generations of great thinkers and teachers. It is an opportunity that I am confident we will seize, emboldened by our history of innovation in higher education and led by our commitment to advancing knowledge, promoting understanding, and serving society.
- Alan M. Garber, Provost
Faculty seeking support related to developing innovative pedagogy or conducting research on the science of learning can find direct support through University initiatives such as HarvardX and HILT and local school-based efforts.
In addition, the Office of the Vice Provost for Research helps faculty and researchers identify sources of funding, compile competitive proposals, partner with other researchers at Harvard, and navigate the funding application process, we seek to identify and ease practical impediments to interdisciplinary research.
