Cassie McGrath is the Manager of Programs and Administration for the Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching (HILT) and the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning (VPAL). Cassie’s largest responsibilities are running the VPAL Signature Events and maintaining the Harvard Portal for Professional and Lifelong Learning. She also collaborates on the HILT annual conference, the HILT TLC, any HILT finance needs, and HILT/VPAL special projects as they arise. Prior to working at VPAL, Cassie was the Program Coordinator for the Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Sciences (IQSS). She holds a bachelor’s in biology from Northeastern University and a master’s in management from the Harvard Extension School. When she is not working, Cassie is usually reading a book, taking pictures, or traveling with her husband and son (sometimes she does all three at once!).
