Devin McCabe is a research data engineer who combines academic training in statistics with experience building applications for businesses across a variety of industries. His primary interests include Bayesian modeling, distributed computing techniques, and R programming.
Most recently, Devin worked as an Associate Computational Biologist at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where he pursued research in cancer genomics. Before he became interested in statistics and data science, Devin was an application developer and CTO at several Chicago-area startups, where he worked in industries as diverse as online test prep, home security, and pet products.
Devin earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's degree in biostatistics from Brown University.
